"From Where I Sit"

An exhibit celebrating the Black women of Macomb County. The Group of over 85+ black women and growing are preparing an exhibit for its opening during the summer of 2023. "From Where I Sit" will showcase the history and accomplishments of the Black women of Macomb County who have played an integral, if at times quiet and overlooked role in the growth of what we know as Macomb County today.

THE BLACK WOMEN OF MACOMB EXHIBIT will sponsor several events leading up to the exhibit. Our next event will honor the the elders of our community

at an afternoon Tea, "On Your Shoulders We Rise".
